Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was a member of the team as well as the captain of 2012's Fierce Five and the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the team floor as well as the individual competitions. The bronze was won through her balance bar. It made her an the only American gymnast in the Olympics to win the most medals. Gold medals she took home in the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold for the American team. She was, and fellow teammate Gabby - the first Americans - to achieve this feat. Additionally, she won silver for individual all-around and floor exercises. In the three years between her two Olympic Games the athlete took a break. She also was part of gold-winning American squads at two World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons at the age of 2 and enjoys exercises on the floor. Aly has a strong support for her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who died due to cancer. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. The next goal she has is growing her range of leotards. Fierce is a new book she plans to release later in the year.
