  Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American rapper, singer and songwriter as well as record producer. The stage name he uses is the name of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal for GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. He is signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) was released in the year 2013 by self-release. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo, his first studio album, featured the hit single "Antidote". His second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott has released his second album together with Quavo, Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. He also produced his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in the latter half of 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It reached the top of the Billboard 200. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to have three songs at the top spot in less than an entire year, in the year 2020.
